Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) replaces broad VPN access with least-privilege, per-application connections verified continuously. In Netskope, ZTNA is delivered through Private Access: Step 1 — Deploy Publishers Go to Settings > Security Cloud Platform > Private Access. Deploy Publishers in your environment. Each creates an outbound tunnel to the Netskope tenant — no inbound firewall rules needed. Step 2 — Define Private Apps Register internal applications by hostname or IP. Enable auto-discovery to surface shadow apps. Step 3 — Apply Steering Policies Route relevant traffic through Private Access. Scope by user group, device posture, or risk score. Step 4 — Enable Continuous Verification Trigger re-authentication on risk signals. Integrate with your EDR or MDM for device health enforcement.
