HTTP Header Profiles and comma separation

Hello, Has anyone had issues using comma separation in the referrer field of an HTTP request header? I attempted to use more than one URL comma separating them in the same field per NetSkope documentation, but it broke the URL that was already there and didn't work for the new one. I tried different variations with no luck. I had to create a new header profile for one url..  Any one else?

Netskope stopped pulling YouTube views

I can't seem to figure out what happened but Youtube stopped being pulled into our unsanctioned cloud apps on 11/15. I tried watching a video and usually it appears in the alert right away but the only alerts showing up are from 11/15. Nothing changed on our end that we know of.

Client enrollment pop-up not working in linux and mac

Hi People, I have configured and pushed my client in idp mode via jumpcloud idp and mdm solutions in windows, mac and linux OS. The Enrollment dialog box is popping up even after user closes it which is the expected behavior and it's working fine in windows. But for linux and MacOS if the user closes it, it doesn't automatically opens up again breaking the enrollment flow. Is there any way to fix this behavior for linux and MacOS?

Getting issue while blocking WHatsApp

I am facing issues while attempting to block WhatsApp. I have created a cloud app policy to block WhatsApp, and it is successfully blocking the WhatsApp web. However, on  WhatsApp application uploading is getting blocked, but I am still able to send text messages.Is there a way to block text messages as well? I haven't found any corresponding events in the Netskope logs for sending messages.

Remote work - Problems when VPN and Client Netskope are active

However, if the Netskope client is active, and the user is on the company's network (without being on the vpn) the site is accessible.It also becomes accessible by disabling the Netskope client, and leaving and rejoining the VPN after disabling. We have already forced traffic through NPA Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?Encountered a file package download error nsUtil Failed to auto detect proxy or download PAC file, error 12180

How to export Application Instances

I really like the ability to now easily see all identified app instance in SkopeIT -> Applications -> Instances. However, not having the ability to export the list as a CSV is frustrating. Is this option coming soon? Thx.

ChatGPT broken with Netskope now

Can anyone else confirm? It seems starting yesterday anytime you interact with ChatGPT with Netskope enabled (steering and decrypting) you get the following attached error. Using a Do Not Decrypt rule fixes the issue.

Can anyone provide information/documentation in relation to Netskope as far as "how it handles" or "what it does with" voice and video traffic?We have an ongoing discussion within our org and want to provide more insight/identify potential root causes for delayed call acceptance and/or performance degradation with regard to Netskope.

Whatsapp policy

Dear,Today I have two policies for using WhatsApp web, one for all employees to access and send written messages, but downloading and sending files is blocked.Second policy that is full.Today I release it via online account.What I need today is that only those who have a corporate cell phone can access this, using a corporate cell phone, from what I was able to search for by cell phone number, it is not possible to make this limitation, but I don't know if I can do it through the mac address of the cell phone from the device and so I no longer use the network account.Could you please help me

Risky behavior detection

is there a way to create an alert to detect the movement of files that have a mismatched file extension?i know Netskope will do its inspect of the file but i would like an alert on this as an indicator of risky behavior.

Help with NOT NEAR dlp rule

How would you write the rule expression for this:(P0) - Passwords (Contextual)(C0) - Custom Passwords(C1) - Custom Word 1(C2) - Custom Word 2I want to look for P0 or C0 as long as either is NOT NEAR C1 or C2. The UI doesn't let me build the write logic. Ideally, I think I would want this (which isn't allowed in the UI): ( P0 OR C0 ) NOT NEAR (C1 OR C2)

Latest Golden Release v108

Hi, I noticed this morning that the NS Client Latest Golden Release version has been updated to v108.0.0, which is the same as the Latest Release. Was this intentional? Was a lesser version skipped (v107, v106, etc)? Also, the Support page is still shown v105 and v108 is not available for download.. Unsanctioned Apps Usage

Hi Community, I'm trying to understand how to allow certain users on a policy that has an Unsanctioned App. Basically, I don't want the whole organization to have access to it but only authorized users. Therefore, is there a way to allow this? I've tried to but I automatically get blocked even if there's a policy for the allowed users placed above the "Block Users to ___". Any suggestions would be great.

I am reviewing and I notice that when I use the WhatsApp app and attach an image it is not sent, I do not have associated blocking policies and additionally create a real-time policy where permission is granted to upload and download files.If I enter through a browser, if it allows me to attach all the images, I wanted to check whether netskope restricts the sending of attachments through the App?

Google Badge Label: Control who documents are shared with

We can't be the only ones out there fighting these limitations with Google and Netskope.Google has Badge Labels (like most collaboration services) but they are pretty much focused around doing DLP inspection. Essentially, assign a label of "Confidential" and specific DLP detections are done (i.e. Credit Card). What we would love to do is use labels as a way to enforce access control. With the new R107 release of Google Badge Label support, there isn't really any meaningful actions that can be used (that Google doesn't natively do already). We would love to detect if a label is detected to enforce access control to that document. For example, if we assign a label called "Important People Only" (which is made up of a handful of internal people and some external people) and someone assigned the label to a document Netskope will perform an action to update the people it is shared with to the people in the group called "Important People Only". Currently, the only actions are to re

Github applications is showing browsing activity

The requirement is :- User should able to access a corporate instance of Git-hub but not any other instance of git-hub. I have created app instance for a corporate instance of Git-hub and configured the policy to allow all activities.  2nd policy after that is to block all activities for the application Git-hub ( to match all other git-hub instances) with this, I am not getting an expected resultWhen user is accessing corporate instance, Netskope is showing Browsing activity and getting blocked in 2nd policy.I have checked the list of activities for app Git-hub but there is no Browsing activity mentioned Any expert comments and guidance here pls...

Microsoft Teams VoIP Traffic Bypass

I know it is not recommended to steer VoIP traffic to Netskope because it adds additional hops to reach the destination causing possible performance/audio drops.I tried bypassing MS Teams in the past in our environment and experienced slower speeds and conditional access issues. What would be the best way to bypass VoIP traffic on ports 3478-3481 to the authentication URL teams.microsoft.com with conditional access in mind?

CloudApp Policies - application unavailable

This use case is about Generative AI, but I've run into this issue with other categories as well.  I create a Generative AI block and then I'm adding exceptions as needed by the business. The issue is that I have to create a URL list for those applications that do not show in "CloudApp" options. (ie. Grammarly).  What I don't understand is why is the app not available? I get that Netskope can't distinguish between activities within the app, but when I look at the Alerts and logs it's clearly categoring the URL to the application. I'm now forced to create a rather large URL list to allow Gram
